Reference Conventions Used In The Wiki

Throughout the Wiki you will see references to {private}, {public} and {app}. The meanings of these references is provided below to eliminate confusion.

• {private} - when you see this used it is referring to the private directory that is specified during installation. It is recommended that this directory be outside of the web server directory for security reasons.

• {public} - when you see this used it is referring to the public directory that is specified during installation. This will usually be either the root directory of your web site or a directory below the web server root (a lot of people use /khxc for this directory).

• {app} - when you see this used it is referring to the application name which will usually be ccp0 for the US version or gbu0 for the UK/EU version. It could be different if you have additional applications installed under KHXC or if you have multiple instances of ClickCartPro installed.

It is important to note that changes to core/base KHXC/CCP files are subject to being reversed with updates. It is imperative that you keep detailed notes of what you change and where so you are able to restore any modifications should files be replaced during an update.
