Additions:
~1) Move the main public directory when you are ready to / and run the installer again to change the paths. If you have SEO enabled your .htaccess file will need to be updated also. See Enabling SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for details.

You may install and work with the install in a directory named, for example, /khxc, then move it to the root directory / when you are ready to go "live". Moving may be accomplished two ways.

You can install and work with the install in /khxc then move to /. You can do this two ways:
(1) Move the main public directory when you're ready to /. Rerun the installer if you do this.
(2) Use a rewrite rule to direct requests for / to /khxc/index.php. This is the easiest.
