Running KHXC/CCP In The Root Directory
You may install and work with the install in a directory named, for example, /khxc, then move it to the root directory / when you are ready to go "live". Moving may be accomplished two ways.
- Move the main public directory when you are ready to / and run the installer again to change the paths. If you have SEO enabled your .htaccess file will need to be updated also. See Enabling SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for details.
- Use a rewrite rule in .htaccess to direct requests for / to /khxc/index.php which may be the easiest solution.
