Adding a Front End Administrator
How to set up an account to allow someone to log in and only be able to update the products, categories, prices, pictures etc yet not be able to change the design or other things.
In admin under
Home > Kryptronic Hybrid X Core > User Accounts: Users, User Groups and Affiliate Payments > Manage User Groups
Click on
Clone next to the
Reports group. Enter a
Group ID that identifies this new group, something like StoreOwner perhaps, then fill in the
Group Display Name with a description of what the group is for. The
Interface Type field must be set to BackEnd
Then go to:
Home > ClickCartPro > Application: Profile and Namespaces > Manage Program Namespaces
Click on Update next to Namespace Region
manageprod (display name Manage Online Store Products) and add the new Group ID you created above to the
Allowed Groups field (don't forget the comma after the names that are already there!).
ClickCartPro - Administration
